GLADIATORES
The strongest of male bonds are forged in tranings, fights, and baths.
I joined the gladiators shortly upon my arrival to the City and Romanvm Arena soon became my second home. Besides my new brothers in arms and the regular weekly trainings, I had two extraordinary teachers in martial arts and great warriors, Decimus and Ptolemy.
I improved rather quickly and a couple of months later, I won the gladiators Championship and kept the title of Champion of Romanum for the next 8 months (from March to November)
Clinking of the gladii, exlamations of the men, cheers from the public, roars of the lions, smell of sweat and blood, heavy breathing, hot sand... there's nothing alike.
A special honour for everyone in Romanvm was participating in the Imperial Wedding parade. We marched right after the Legion and saluted the Emperor and the imperial consort, lord Regulus. The Rector Austen couldn't make it at the last moment, but we (Hunter, Valerian and I) were lead by our favourite Lanista (and Rector to be), Tybalt.
